The Acacia Education Solutions Ltd Launch Night took place at The Bombay Lounge in Barrowford recently with a full house consisting of business associates, supporters, family and friends. A fabulous Indian Banquet was enjoyed and Prize Draw tickets were snapped up resulting in £800 being raised to help and support local families whose children are experiencing difficulties within education. We would like to thank Heathcotes, P&J Palmer Salon, Melt Candles, Oscars Beauty and many other local businesses who kindly support our company and donated such wonderful prizes for the Draw.

We offer independent legally based advice on a variety of issues including:

• Problems at school;
• Requesting statutory assessment;
• Proposed statements;
• Annual reviews;
• Exclusion from school.

The Launch celebrated the new, not for profit, company formation which will enable Acacia to continue to offer community based projects supporting and independently advising local families whose children (may) have Special Educational Needs. This work will take place at free Drop-in sessions and Workshops advertised locally, online at and on Facebook for friends of Louise Acacia. Acacia Ltd offers bespoke professional, solution focused support services /specialist intervention work to schools and other organisations across the Burnley, Pendle, Rossendale and Hyndburn & Ribble Valley areas and continues to work in partnership with existing community organisations.

We support the child, the family and the school in identifying the need, putting appropriate support in place and working together to ensure the childs needs are identified and met in school.

Acacia Education Solutions Ltd is constantly striving to develop and offer new ways to support local children and families, including a telephone helpline /support service and we are currently considering opening a Free School in which our work can really make a difference.
